Italoboyz est un nom à la con, repoussant, derrière lequel, croyais-je, devaient se cacher deux bourrinos fluos à la Boyznoize. En fait, pas du tout: ce sont des génies. Where is London (bon titre, quand on habite Londres depuis sept ans) est sinueux, étrange, barré, bancal, malade, surréaliste en tout - exactement ce qu'on aime et qu'on obtient qu'au compte-goutte. On en entend pas souvent des comme ça, mais celui-là est bien parti pour nous faire l'hiver.

Beau film un peu oublié (en VF: ça plane les filles, argh!), d'un réalisateur, Adrian Lyne, souvent méprisé alors qu'on peut lire dans sa filmo (de Flashdance à Indescent Proposal en passant par l'incroyable Jacob's Ladder) une certaine idée du cauchemar 80's. Avec Foxes, son premier film, Adrian Lyne capture la fin d'une autre décennie, celle des 70's, à travers le portrait d'une bande de gamines qui glandent à Los Angeles et font des conneries de leur age (fumer de l'herbe, fuguer, détruire un appart, draguer des hard rockers...). Demain, ce seront peut être des anges déchus ou des working girls, mais pour l'instant, elles planent encore:



A noter: Cherrie Currie, la chanteuse des Runaways, dans son premier rôle au cinéma et une super b.o. (volée quelque part sur un blog) confiée au grand Giorgio.

Qui est responsable de ÇA ? Le décalage horaire ? Un abus de Saké-Bierre-Alcool de prune ? Suis passé à deux doigts des larmes en entendant hier, dans les rangées de Disk-Union, ce titre d’un dernier lp de Prefab Sprout, Let's change the world with music, écrit en 1992 mais enregistré l’an passé seulement (avec Thomas « so synthetic» Dolby aux manettes) et mis en vente en septembre.
Call me faggot, j'en sais rien, mais ce soir j’aimerai entendre ça et rien d'autre, à fond à 5h52 du matin à la fin d'un set. Vous riez ? Mais il en a toujours été ainsi avec Prefab Sprout : ça dépasse le bon goût. Mes amis se moquaient déjà de moi en 1985 lorsque je les gavais avec Spoon ou Steve Mc Queen – des albums que j’écoute encore aujourd’hui. Prefab Sprout est un groupe que l'on aime seul. Mais ça ne m’étonnerait pas que Karine Charpentier, Sundae, Dirk ou même ce vieux sentimental de Piloo aient eux aussi ça gravé quelque part (désolé les gars de vous compromettre un peu).
